New Player Help

Hi i’m a new player to MLB the show, I’ve been playing for about 7 days now and my DD ranked season ranked is 20-27. I lose a lot of close games and it feels alot of my hitters on my team line out weakly when i square a pitch up and having good/perfect timing :(.

My current squad is
C- 96 Yasmani Geandal
1B-93 Jason Giambi
2B-83 Jackie Robinson
SS- 99 Robin Yount
3B- 97 Eugenio Suarez
RF- 94 Teoscar Herdandez
CF- 99 Ronald Acuna
LF- 98 Eloy Jimenez
please help me out with my squad, i’m trying to break .500 and make it to division series

I would grind TA, and go after Mantle and Trout.

welcome man. I have been playing since Inning 5 and am only 9 games above .500 and topped out in the 700s. There is no magical card. Guys rake with certain card while others dont. TOPPS NOW has some good cards to use in RS. Player programs for Joe Morgan and Jim Edmunds should be a must. Then conquest maps for days man. Tons of rewards

Here's what i would recommend.

1. Grind Topps Now Moments
2. Grind 2020 Postseason Moments/Program
3. Go through all the conquest maps and just work on covering the map minus the strongholds and playing games. TONS of free packs and rewards that should help build a bankroll and allow you to buy some desired cards.
4. Do all the POTM programs.

5. Focus on collections and building towards Mantle/Trout

2B seems like your biggest hole.

Options:
A. Take Sandberg when you hit XP Silver 1.
B. Joe Morgan Player Program
c. Play the 2020 Postseason Championship Series Moments and take Ozzie.
D. Do a couple of TA4 Conquest maps and take Cronenworth.
E. Do Player of the Month Programs for either Tatis or Ramirez.
F. Collect all AL Live Series players to get Biggio.

What's your rotation and bullpen look like? If you can do the RIB showdown or Conquest you can build out a team with the rewards that can compete at those levels.
