Anyone else trying to make WS?

I’m talking to those of you who have never made WS or who don’t always make it.
I’ve never done it, but I’ve also never really committed myself to try. There’s always other content to work on or something else to do. But, with content running short and Mays behind so many stubs and orders, I’m going for it.
I don’t think I’ve made it past DS this year. I made CS twice last year. My overall is 63-33 and I’m 8-3 so far this season.
I’m hoping this thread could be for people in similar spots as me to share.
Any takers?

I am going to try. Have plenty of time thanks to quarantine, haven't hit WS since 18.

I may try. First season playing and Have hit high 800s , but than start getting kicked back to reality. Let’s see where we end up.

I hit 803 in 17 but that’s about it. Too much RNG this year to go that far in my estimation. Based on my ability anyway. But for my age my 26-10 record isn’t bad lol

Haven’t played much Ranked Seasons at all but I’m going to give it a go myself the rest of the game cycle. Came up short in the 870s-890s like 4 seasons in a row last year lol. Kept running out of time for a serious push.
Good luck to you all though. I took a week break and came back to Mays with a million orders so making WS is probably my only bet to get him anytime soon!

The game used to come easy to me......it simply doesn’t anymore! I give up to easily cuz I guess I just don’t care. I would care more if I could figure out how to cover the plate. I would care more if I could adjust to an off speed pitch. But I can’t do any of the above. Made 800 4 times this year. Even made it to 850 once. But I’m a complete loser vs a real player.

I’m glad to hear so many are in the same spot. Sometimes on this forum it seems like everyone is a WS player. I won my only game tonight and bumped up to Wild Card. So, I’m moving in the right direction. Good luck everyone. Keep us updated where you are.

I like the inspiration of your post. It’s my first year playing and I’ve never made it past Wild Card, but then again, I never played after hitting Wild Card because I didn’t think I’m good enough to get further considering that it seems like everyone’s record is like 300-10 when my record is barely .500. I will give it a shot like you because I love Willie Mays and don’t think I have any other opportunity to get him. Good luck!

I'm trying. Got to 720 tonight and beat a guy (with a little (a lot) of RNG help) who was 140-40. Weird side note- I looked him up and saw he played @mitchhammond24 recently. It was cool seeing a forum member's name I recognized in someone else's game log.
After that thrilling game, got my [censored] handed to me by another good player. Unlocked Griffey tonight, so all is good for the WS run

I’ve hit CS every month I’ve played for the last 3 years & never cracked WS. I’ve gotten over 885 many many times but just never get matched up with someone I can beat for that last W needed. It’s beyond frustrating...With Spiderman & COD dropping on Friday my focus will switch to those games. Maybe I’ll shoot for WS next year, Maybe not. I honestly feel like I have some bad coding in my profile. I don’t know how else I could get THAT close every month for years & never get over. I play so many people with WS banners that are TERRIBLE, That makes it even more frustrating.

I would like to try, but they also just released all these conquest maps, so I’m currently working through them. Only so much time to play lately. And I want to knock these conquest out for a boost on the TAs

I've made it my quarintine goal but I haven't been able to do it. This is my first year of online play and the most I've gotten to is 837.

Naaaah. I don’t have the time or inclination to make WS. Too many multiple home run innings and slugfests to overcome to get there.

I’m giving WS a shot for the first time this month because of Mays. Usually I play RS at the end of each RS just to get the 10 RS wins for the Inning program. Tried getting to CS this past season for the first time, which I did and was pretty happy about. Up to 787 right now and just hoping to go +1 in the win column everyday that I play. I’m not good enough to compete with legit WS guys so I’ll need to get lucky with matchups.
