Can we PLEASE stop trying to boost. It’s honestly the most pathetic thing changing your name to “4 rbis with blank I quit” and then messaging me 1,000,000 times asking me to boost. How are you not embarrassed with yourselves by doing this? Why even play the game if you’re not good enough to get stats?! Figure it out boosters you’re a disgrace to the game

Its as simple as either complying with their request, or just play your game. I myself ask for stats to make prestige easier. I've had Mantle since May, still not prestige simply because I haven't asked for stats. Its a quicker route for sure.
In my shoes, so long as the guy doesn't message me, I'll typically comply but only in events. If a guy goes out of their way to message me, I just play my game.

Honestly, if they have that name, I normally let them! With how bad I am, I will take any win. And then if they don't quit like they said, I get ticked and bunt-cheese, and all the cheesy stuff.

I want to see prestige be ranked seasons only, with stat requirements you can reasonably complete in 20-30 games (About a month for most). Would reduce (even eliminate) boosting. If you don’t play enough ranked to get this done, well why do you need to prestige?
Edit: This rewards people who actually use those cards in RS with the opportunity to prestige, and it doesn’t take all year like it would if you did Mantle, Trout exclusively in RS

I personally don’t care if someone is trying to boost or their team name is 2 XBH I quit or whatever. I never get messages from anyone and even if they try and send me any I have messages set to private and friends only so it doesn’t bother me

I mean ya we can say that but we can also blame the people who aren't willing to just earn their stats like they should. I would feel pretty pathetic getting a prestige card knowing I didn't actually earn it.

Very true. I played a guy the other day who wanted me to help him prestige and I said no and he started talking [censored] when he beat me. The funny thing is he had the audacity to name his team "Mamba Mentality" when he doesn't even want to work hard in a video game. A pure slap in the face to Kobe.

Im in my 30s and my wifes brother is 22. He introduced me to madden ultimate team last year. Its crazy how far these kids will go just to get a virtual win. I mean he was stealing money from his mom to buy bundles. DD is by no means like that but I will never understand why people do things like boost or cheese play or spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a virtual game that is not usable after a year. Just simply cant wrap my head around it

I can understand to a large extent. Before this year, I used to criticize these ultimate team concepts. Then, my friend introduced me to this game and I gave it a chance, expecting to dislike the whole thing. I think there is something addictive to it, which is the reason for its wide success. I ended up spending $240 on stubs (all of it earlier in the game cycle) when all along my motto was to never spend a dime on a video game. I am a hypocrite to an extent and thus, can understand how this happens, especially for youngsters.

Unfortunately most of America doesn’t share this thought on anything. The word “earn” means nothing to the majority of the population born after 1995.
