If somebody press R2 right before my pitcher starts his windup, will it have an impact on my timing?

Nope. They're just hoping to waste you time. The only thing that could potentially be an issue is if you have your pitch track line set to fade. I guess it would disappear and you'd be throwing based off of feel.

Thanks. I’m in peace with my loss then, I felt like I couldn’t control any of my pitchers in clutch situations and got out of jams by purr luck, I even walked a run in the 8th and it came to bite me in the [censored] in the 9th. Dude was extremely good or very lucky, he hit a HR with Bob Gibson early in the game, obviously the swing feedback said early.

It possibly could. Them pressing R2 prevents you from going into your windup. They're trying to throw you're rhythm off so you drop a meatball in the heart of the plate

I didn’t feel any delay, it was just weird that I couldn’t control any pitcher in clutch situations.
He could’ve been doing that I guess

R2 can definitely screw you up. It’s purpose is so you’re opponent can look at where you’ve been pitching. But it has been abused for years as a way to screw up timing. SDS knows it, and they won’t do anything about it. I would love to bring back balks, everybody cries about it! Unfortunately there will always be a level of cheesing in this game. Just the way it is.

That’s what I’ve heard about it. I’ll take my L as a big boy. The game was there for me to win it, actually I entered the 9th with a 2 run lead and blew it because suddenly I couldn’t control pitchers with 85+ control. It was fun regardless and I’m finally improving my hitting

It happened again, dude was losing 5-0. As soon as I took that big lead I couldn’t control any pitcher anymore until the game was tied in the 8th. I took the lead back and again in the 9th after two outs I couldn’t control my pitchers and my opponent obviously got two men on base and then hit a ball to the wall 🙂 ... I raged quit because now I know these players are doing something. I don’t know how they time it but what’s the point? Winning at all costs?
