When you’re a bad hitter like me, you get a ton of oppo doubles due to being late on outside pitches

Not against me, I have the auto shift turned off for that exact reason
. Not sure if I'm giving up more hits now though because those pull hitters aren't shifted, I might turn it back on. -
I'm with you, I hit him great in the showdown, but online im o-fer with him so far, but most of that is not being patient enough, I do the same with trout also

Almost every time he touched the ball it left when i went through the showdown. Im not to 300 yet so i have no other input.... Yea.

I was crushing the ball with him in showdown. It took like 3 total attempts to complete it, but Griffey had at least 6-7 hr between all the attempts, along with a few doubles and singles.

Showdown is a terrible place to judge how good of a player someone really is.

oh I know, I never judge how I'll do with a guy online by how well I hit them in showdown, but usually I don't hit the top guys well in showdown, Griffey was one of the few that I did.

Keep trying, he’ll come around eventually. I had the same problem with Seager and now I’m getting close to .300 BA and I am a very bad hitter
I started red hot with Griffey Jr, like 571 in 7 PA, he’ll come around for you.

I’m actually thinking this is the correct conclusion for me. I played better in ‘16 on an old TV when I had zero idea what I was doing. This is my worst year ever in terms of success.

No matter how good some cards/players might be to the general public there will always be people who struggle with them . Some people struggle with the likes of Mantle , Trout ,Ruth ,Tatis etc meanwhile to others these cards are god tier and perform exceptional . it’s all user preference and styles of play at work here be it Because of swing types or just feeling more comfortable with certain Players (also some people just struggle with everyone ) .
