Just dont know how relevant he still is with baseball. We have a lot of young dudes that might be hard for a 76 year old to relate with

I don’t think the all business anti-fun Tony La Russa will get along very well with TA and Robert. La Russa is a legend there is no doubt about it, but doesn’t mesh well with todays game. There is a reason he was retired for 9 years before this

I read he didn't like the TA bat flip and criticized Kaepernick.
Maybe he has changed his stance on some things.
I know that Dusty did well in Houston but why come back in your 70's? There's nothing to prove.
