Unwritten rules in online play
-
Do you guys follow the unwritten rules while playing the game online ? There are so many unwritten rules that I am sure I have broken many of them lol.

Thou shall not dashboard
-
Where are the “written” rules at? They didn’t come with the instructions & I don’t see any posted by SDS here.

Or if you do, do it or quit after a dinger lands. I never quit though because I try to figure out how to get outs and maybe I'll come back. I like the challenge

You’re not supposed to watch replays of your homeruns. I don’t, but I really want to sometimes. I think if it’s over 450ft, the game should automatically replay it for you.
-
If somebody watches their homerun replay we both are watching every homerun replay for the rest of the game. Mine and thiers it makes no difference I’m slapping L2

I’m petty like that too.

Now this is how you do it. Love that.

I think just by showing the distance it would stop a lot of replays. I dont know why we cannot get that in feedback. Noone wants to pause and go to gamelog to see how far that ball went.
-
No dashboarding and we can only watch absolute bombs (mine or his).

I do find it quite funny that everyone seems to agree the feedback is often wrong but no one seems to question the accuracy of the HR distance tracker.

I replay my opponents bombs if they are tanks. Even I think it’s cool when they go 500 ft even if I’m pitching. It’s supposed to be a fun video game - this isn’t real life.
That said, if you pause the game every 2 minutes I’m going to hunt you down.
-
Do not Spam R2 to discombobulate the pitcher and making throw down the middle.

Don’t sleep with your opponent’s girlfriend, sister, or any ex-girlfriend. Always ask first on step-sisters because the internet tells me a lot of step siblings have special arrangements.
If you weren’t here to lighten up these forums they would be a sad and dark place. Cheers to too many beers tonight and Schnauzer

If it was a key home run or you hit a bomb and want to watch it, fine. But, for the love of god, we don't need to watch every homer.
Stop abusing the pause timer...I hate consistently having to wait a minute or two every inning.
I don't understand why people dashboard. I have rage quit before but I just wait for the home run to land then hit the start button and quit out of the game.
-
Unwritten rules are un-enforceable rules; if you insist on them being enforced, you're merely creating YOUR "unwritten rule"... which won't be followed either.

I will not throw you a high sinker unless you start spamming them. See it more in events and nothing but eye rolling when your very first pitch to me is a high inside sinker. That’s when I warm up my two primary sinker relievers and you will get the same treatment.
I get it can be an accident once in awhile but when it’s the first pitch of the game then two more follow it’s not. That being said usually the players that resort to pitching this way are not that great and it’s mostly an easy W.
