100%, I've noticed it and I love it! They've also been playing a lot of Phish songs as they've gone to break. I've noticed that as well. Whoever is in charge of the music over there I say keep it up, great job! I'm a Padre fan so I'm rooting against the Dodgers and the music as they go to commercial break is all I have to look forward to here in this game.

Back at it again tonight!

That's cool, but why? Why play their music unless a member is In the news?
They did a lot of VH for Eddie as well.
I wish they had did some deeper VH, like 'Fools' or 'Hear about it later.' -

Ask and you shall receive i guess. Just heard your Van Halen right now.

Might be a little bit of a stretch but I wonder if someone is doing it to quietly troll the Dodgers. The greatful dead is from the Bay Area and have always had a connection with the sf giants. I believe at least once a year they have a deadhead night at the stadium going back to even when they were at the stick and have shirts, pins, hats, and other memorabilia that uses their logo with the giants logo. It’s a stretch but would really give me a good laugh if it was haha

Ha...maybe a bit of a stretch but hey, you never know. The Dead are definitely tied to the bay area and the Giants. Could be a Giants fan working for fox trying to send some good juju in the direction for the Dodgers to loose. Im pretty sure they still have Grateful Dead night up there also. I think a few other MLB teams have recently too. Being in SD here the Padres had one I think it was 2 years ago. Their single A team in Lake Elsinore used to do it every year also but I don't think they do it anymore. Coincidentally they always had it on a Thursday, which were "thirsty thursdays" with $1 beers. Good times!

Something about them playing the Dead brought a huge smile to my face. It really helped me get in the mood to just watch the game for the pure joy of just watching baseball and forget about this dog [censored] year a little longer. It was really nice and unexpected. I haven’t listened to the Dead much the last few years so it was sort of an even nicer surprise
