Was doing the Margot moments where you needed so many total bases and in one at bat hit a ball deep in the gap. No question this is a easy stand up double. I have a runner on first and although I easily coast into second the runner from first gets thrown out at the plate. I only get credit for a single. This is not a whine post about getting screwed as I got the moment done anyway but got me thinking if this would happen in real life. Was this just the game screwing up? I would have assumed this would be a double. Would this be a single because the runner was thrown out or would it be case by case at the discretion of the official scorer?

Honestly I hate this. I’ve had this happen all year, even if the computer hits the cut and doesn’t throw it home and you get into second, it’s a single and a fielders choice. So annoying.

I just had an issue in postseason moments today. D'Arnaud hits 2 HRs in his first 3 ABs, and didnt get another AB. The score was 4-0. D'Arnaud was the 4 hitter. That's not possible for the 4 hitter to only get 3 ABs if the team scored 4 runs.

The 3 hitter had 2 ABs total. The 5 and 8 hitters had 4 ABs. Someone from SDS please explain this for me.

I hit a clean double in the center/right field gap. Runner was on first. Throw to cutoff man went wild. Runner scored. I'm standing on 2nd, throwing hand signs to the dugout. Evidently, the hand gestures were frowned upon as the scoring was recorded as (E9). No single; no double. Nuthin'.......

So this is how I noticed it goes..... if they don’t throw home then they could easily get you out at second so the double is fielders choice which relegates it to a single. I’ve had doubles count when they only throw to cut off man and I make it but if they throw home it’s a single

Yep. If there are runners on base you are boned

They really need to address this.
