What do you guys think about the advantage of using POWER SWING?

Anybody who would explain what really is the difference between POWER SWING and NORMAL SWING?
I've tested several times playing single games and I found POWER SWING just weakens timing of contact and covers narrower PCI zone than normal swing.
There was no significant difference in the number of home runs by swing mode(I feel it's easier to hit home runs while using NORMAL SWING) and also there was no significant difference in the home run distance by swing mode. The farthest home run record has come from while I used NORMAL SWING.

I really don't know why POWER SWING is necessary for this game.

    Please help.

You are correct that power swing incurs a PCI penalty where the inner contact PCI shrinks some. The only instance I consider power swing is if I'm ahead in the count and want to make sure I get a ball deep for a sacfly.

Power swing doesn't add to the max distance, but it does increase exit velo on contact. How much benefit you'll see is a risk/reward though because PCI placement is less forgiving. TBH I'm not sure why it's even a thing really. If you had to power swing to hit HR's with guys that didn't have high power I would understand, but in its current state Power swing is pretty useless.
