Very early swings.
-
Too early swings.
-
Premature swingulation.
-
I am confused, but: Prior whack
@SchnauzerFace I can't stop laughing. -
Early swingers hit lots of dingers,
While good timers hit liners for outs,
Don’t use PCI and here’s a high fly,
Which is only a homer at Shippet. -

Yeah but you should have left the PCI in the middle and swung crazy early, as if you were facing a SMG, not a pitcher. Only rookies hit the ball P/P.

Early swingers hit lots of dingers,
But good swings are line outs to Trout,
Or maybe to Mickey, the choice ain’t that tricky,
They’re the only two CFs about. -

Yeah, I was struggling to come up with a poem, so I asked my kids for help.
“You know Dad -“ Said my Daughter, “Nothing rhymes with ‘prestige’.”
Frowning, I looked over. “No it doesn’t.” I said. “You’re worse at this than I am, go back to your room.” -

True, although I guess you could make the argument for leaves rhyming to prestige depending on pronunciation.

Frowning, I looked over. “No it doesn’t.” I said. “You’re worse at this than I am, go back to your room.”Yeah, you could force a “my liege” in there, but then you’d have to tie some sort of caste system into the poem and then tie that into an aspect of the game. One could, but I don’t know if one should.

We need that Chopper Bones guy from ‘18 to come back and post some garbled nonsense. That was the greatest post I’ve ever read on TSN.

Ah man I missed that. I was probably sent on vacation by the SDS mods during that period.

Guy was either not an English speaker or totally illiterate, he’d got the immortal Chipper in ‘18 and was struggling with the same issues we all were in ‘18, good/good pop ups and line outs. So he came on here to rant and generally lose his [censored].
Now, I’m paraphrasing, because it was a long time ago, but in his wall of capitalised text and exclamation points, he’d said something like - “WHY is Chopper Bones hot bombs only to drop tracks on GoOD TiMiNg?!?!” Nothing made sense, but he was clearly totally enraged. The whole post was a glorious mess and gave me much hilarity.
