Hot take: I haven't missed the 99 Griffey

Hear me out with new legends Mantel and Walker along with Trouts best card arriving much earlier then years past 99 Griffey hasn't been as missed or as needed in previous years.
Hes one of my favorite players but after 3 years of using him it's been a nice change to have new guys out there

Agreed......but the minute he’s out I’m going after him and plugging into the permanent lineup. Unless he’s a BR reward I’ll never see.

Yeah im not sure he makes the starting lineup this year for me. Trout is too ridiculous. I think im gonna run trout, mantle, and mays when he drops

I honestly don’t know how to take Walker out at this point. He’s my best hitter and diamond defender...

I think mays will be obtainable because he was the collection reward last yr. Griffey I’m assuming will be a WS reward or BR. Seems like kinda flip flopped some of the big names in how you earned them. I just want that 99 chipper. He’ll be BR for sure.

Chipper was a BR or WS reward last year. No way they do that this year too.

I think Chipper ends up being a player program reward.

For me, Griffey definitely not better than Trout, Mantle has a slight advantage for switch hitting, probably not get rid of Larry and Cobb because I like them.

Griffey’s 95 was a WS reward, and HRD was a collection reward. So his 99 may be Seattle’s stage 4 TA award if it isn’t finest
