I have been flipping for an hour or so, and have made 50K already! This can help me A LOT!
SO: Once I get enough for Trout, do I buy him? In another thread I mentioned wanting Orel. I would not use Trout, if that helps. Just for collection purposes.
LS diamonds I still need:
Trout, deGrom, Cole, Verlander, Scherzer, Arenado, Sale, Anderson. Could someone help out? Thanks! -
What would be your advice for starting to flip? I’ve done it sparingly but never with a strategy

Right now, go to https://the-show-zone.com/flipping/players/. Then do the cards with the most profit per minute. All of the recent TN cards are good right now.

I started with like 20k back in august. Saw trout was selling for like 180k so in a couple hours I got cole scherzer trout belly and arenado
-
You would use Mantle though. So I would do it.. you get stubs from the collection and then you could just buy Orel or go through the TA path to him.
-
You’ll also find out that when you get mantle your stub bank grows very rapidly. Also it helps to get the inning programs done within 48 hours so you can sell for a crazy amount of Stubbs than buy back for 80k cheaper in a couple weeks

Thanks! If you still need some LS diamonds that cost more than Trout (Verlander and DeGrom), then I would say concentrate on TA as you get a lot of packs along the way and you could get lucky and pull 1 or more of those guys...

The problem is that I don't get to play much. Maybe 4 hours a week. A little more this week though!
Who should I buy first? AND what should I do that can get me stubs quick? Just doing the RIB showdowns a lot? -

Who should I buy first? AND what should I do that can get me stubs quick? Just doing the RIB showdowns a lot?The Team Affinities are fairly cheap to do, just keep doing the player exchanges. You will get stubs and packs as you progress through them.
The show zone site has another section on them that shows the cheapest way to do the player exchanges for each TA.
Conquest maps are also great for stubs and packs. RIB conquest takes maybe 30 mins each time, sell the card for 20k+. Shark Map conquest is also great for packs.
If you are good with showdowns, 9th inning showdown is a great stub farm as well as the free packs.

The pace you play, flipping is your best bet! Unfortunate, there's a LOT of cards to be gained via TA and Conquest!

I went there. Would someone be willing to explain the exchange part of the site? I haven't started the Dodgers yet though...
-
RIVAL OF: the exchange you're working on. Example: If you're chasing Orel, type the Dodgers in here
EXCH: The number of exchange points that card is worth. 74s are worth 1541 exchange points, 75s are worth 1922, and so forth.
QTY/AFF: The number of that type of card you need to complete the exchange.
COST/AFF: If you only use that card and that card alone to complete the exchange, how many stubs are you going to have to spend to fully complete 1 exchange round? -

I think that I could get it done quicker, but a little more cost, if I get TN cards because they are high diamonds. Thoughts?
-
I'd recommend flipping it to only look at Silver players and putting in a buy order for 3 of each that come up on the first screen of 25 players. By time you get to the bottom the screen you should have enough players for an exchange or two. Then do it again and again. Personally I shoot for under 2.5k per exchange but this should keep you under 3k. Once TA4 drops this price will skyrocket.
