Innings Program Voucher
-
This is probably common knowledge but can somebody tell me how to get the 8th inning collection voucher that's worth 75 stars? I've never paid much attention to the innings programs but just realized I could get to 300 starts if i complete some of the collections in the program. Just curious what you need to do in order to get that voucher.

You have to buy all three inning bosses and lock them in. Basically you spending 300000 plus stubs to get the next inning boss faster

Ah, thank you. So would it be the previous inning bosses that you would need to collect for the current inning program? For example, collecting all three 7th inning bosses in order to get the 8th inning program voucher? Seems odd that you would have to collect Kershaw, Cobb, and Pudge to get that voucher in pursuit of 300 stars when you would get to pick one of them at that point.

You have to get Thomas/Johnson and Harper.
Cobb/Kershaw and Rodriguez will be used for the 9th inning program.

It’s always the previous inning, I’ve done it a few times this year. But I just grind now

I wouldn't recommend doing it, by the way.
I don't think any of the cards are worth their price-tag and that's coming from a White Sox fan that will defend The Show 19's Signature Series Frank Thomas as the best card in the entire game last year. Frank is still great in this game but he isn't the best first baseman and the other two cards don't come anywhere near the best at their respective positions.
The only Inning programs that were worth locking in all three bosses this year were the 5th Inning with Mariano Rivera, Larry Walker, and David Ortiz and maybe the 6th Inning with Jimmy Rollins, Greg Maddux, and Stan Musial. I locked in the 4th Inning and have regretted it all year.

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah that doesn't seem like it would be worth to lock in all those guys. I like all the 8th inning bosses but am most interested in getting Pudge and Cobb. Probably better just to buy them off the market which I would do but I was holding off a little to see if their prices would drop at all.

Cobb is worth every stub in my opinion, he's been nothing short of amazing for me since selecting him.

They are only going up from this point forward with the new rib stub farm

It's never worth it unless you are rolling in stubs

I've heard a lot of this that's what makes me want to pick him up. Like a lot of people though, my OF is Trout, Mantle, and Walker so I'll have to work him in somehow. Probably for Walker but he's possibly my best hitter so I'm not sure.

Yeah I was afraid of this. I should just spend the stubs and at least get one. Probably Cobb but I've kind of been struggling with a consistent catcher too and that Pudge looks pretty good.
