Idk why everyone was so high on Pepe and his awful generic topspin heavy swing. Traded mine in for Chipper on the day I unlocked him, which was by far the best move imo.

Not in 17 bro, not even close. Albert also had a lot of topspin on his swing in that game and he had the auto shift on him like every year. Chipper murdered it from both sides of the plate, great swing as always and no shift.

I sucked at timing the hitting to just late intentionally, nor did I really try even though that gave insane results. I just stuck with what I do and been doing and accept the results. With that approach Chipper has been my 3 hole hitter for the entire year and probably my best bat in the line up.

Nah, that's just your conditioned mind looking at fluke numbers. Besides, we already had a CAP with those stats AND any swing you want (Corey Seager). Plus my outfield was so loaded already I had to play 99 Hardware Bryce Harper OOP at 1B, which was still an option back then. No need for Pepe whatsoever.
