It shouldnt be a Cards player. They have never played in Angels stadium, IIRC. And it’s not Pujols as an Angel. No reason, and the player is a visiting player.
What AL teams wear red jerseys.
Doesn't have to be AL there is interleague play. The team is all red helmet and jersey. They just released an Angels Tori Hunter I wouldn't think they would do 2 back to back.
In the AL it is the Rangers that have an all red alternative uniform, Angels. Indians and Red Sox have had red helmets in the past. In the NL it is the Reds and Cards and the Nats
So who is left that has had a high level card yet that would fit the clues
-
The away team is hitting. So bot the angels. Could be a silver slugger Rendon, being that he played for a team team with red jerseys(Nats), and then now plays for the angels. It could also be Johnny Damon, or a Rangers player. Could be a reds player(Tony Perez if he is still in the game, or Votto). If its a cards player I can say with 100% certainty that it is not Pujols
-
IMO it also looks like a RH hitter in their HR celebration.

Please let it be Damon

Eddie Gaedel definitely!!!!

AL-Red Sox, Rangers, Indians, Angles, White Sox back in the day
NL- Cards, Nats, Phillies, Reds

It's obviously a 1981 Pete Rose Silver Slugger Awards card, and a Pete Rose program.

A. You completely missed it.
B. Would it though?
Rose's most similar comps are Molitor, Cobb, Yount, Brett and Damon: high-contact low power guys that nobody really enjoys using. Just like Jeter, the idea of a Rose card is appealing right up until the point you actually have to use it.

Paul Goldschmidt?

A. Doh! hangs head in shame Very well played sir. clap clap
B. No arguments from me there, but I'd like to see Charlie Hustle in the game. No chance, I know, but still. And hey, maybe they code him with some sense of urgency and when he hits the ball in the infield, he actually, you know, RUNS towards 1st instead of doing the Cabrera Shuffle....
[censored] How'd I miss that........

Paul Goldschmidt?
I’m hoping for that, but the d-backs wear black helmets with red jerseys (but I do think there might were a couple seasons of red and red). I think d-backs red is a little darker — this looks a lot more like the primary red that the rangers wear tbh. Also, it kinda looks like the runner’s number is a single digit and goldy always wore 44.
But I am 100% hoping for goldy because I’m not really excited by anyone from the reds or rangers.

I have learned to never bet against the Reds!

You could say that about any card that you personally play poorly with.

Either Pujols or Edmunds... I'm like 90% it's Edmunds

Is your other 10% Edmonds?
Nah, but on a serious note. Does the fact that it says "Expanded Program" mean anything? Like it will continue from one we already have. Like Gibson or Wagner?
Unless you guys are talking about the player program that drops tomorrow, but that one is a Flashback Player not a legend. So has to be someone still playing.

Could it be Beltre?
