Dead ball event

I dont post ever but this event is worth it. What a dumpster fire. Lets play a game of [censored] bloop hits and bunts and on top of it lets force you to play the game in the stadium and time of day that it is hardest to pick up the ball. I played 2 innings and will be the only 2 innings i play of this event. It was like someone at SDS said lets create an event that highlights the biggest problems/faults/frustrations in the game. Lol.

The rewards aren’t great. Don’t think it’s worth it

im with you man. I for one am excited. I dont bunt cheese and not looking forward to those that do but other than that going to be using some random cards and i love it

yea i dont get the forced lock stadium thing. Doesnt make much sense. Thats not the only field around during the dead ball era

I think hey picked it cause it's teh hardest to hit dingers out of. That being said, I lost my 1st game to a walkoff Ken Griffey Sr. moonshot... I think he's on the juice now too.

Do overalls work differently in this event? On my bench I have replaced a 90 with an 80, a 93 with an 80, an 83 with an 80, and an 86 with an 80 and my team is still at a 95/90.

Just played a 10 inning dead ball event game. This event is great for prestiging pitchers, but that's about it lol.

Ozzie Smith hit a two run homer that bounced off the top of the wall twice in slow motion allowing him to round the bases. What fun!

It took me like 6 games to finally realize all the games were being played at forbes....I was thinking , man why is everyone wanting to play at Forbes?

I feel like you can't properly enjoy this event without wearing a Homburg and a sack suit.

Why do the rewards have to be so terrible on top of not fun parameters. Like if I had to grind this and honus was at 100, It would be fun and worth it. But a trash reliever and Cather who did not even play during the deadball era and one of the games worst pitchers as rewards ? Why even play, it’s just a prestige pitcher and warm up for ranked event , and for a whole month, that was fun. Epic idea to keep people engaged in the game

This had me rollin.....im just picturing a dude sitting there going "really forbes again....whats wrong with these idiots"
