Can you stack the same perks? For instance, a gold 2 strike contact boost with a diamond 2 strike contact boost? Does the diamond cancel out the gold or do they add together?

I just did this earlier tonight and it seemed to make beating the Kershaw boss battle pretty easy for me. ‍️
