For warmups I like to play extra innings games on legend against god squads, so I can face good pitching. Just now I faced David Price and I took him deep with my lead off guy, which dropped his confidence to about 50%.
Next batter flies out, 3 hole hitter hits a double and my cleanup guy hits a 2 run bomb. I check his confidence after the homerun and it's somehow close to 75% -

They are not affected by the sliders unfortunately.

Gotcha. Do you still find that those legend games prepare you for online ranked games in terms of pitch velocity?

No, but it's pleasant to play a game without lag every once in a while. It prepares me decently for BR which is all I've been playing lately anyway.

That's what I figured. I used to do BP on legend with 3 ticks to the right for games on HoF. For legend games I turn the sliders all the way to the right. Sadly, even then in some games the pitches come in hotter than I can prepare for in BP (although I do not believe that this is something that SDS has intended).

Yeah sounds familiar. That's how I practice for my RS runs as well, on legend with the sliders all the way up. Unfortunately there is no setting in the world that can simulate the fastballs coming in with latency.
