Stolen Base Moments

I can understand why they're not automatically putting you on base and making you either get a hit or take a walk. But why, after I get that base hit and then have to steal a base, are they putting me up against a quick count if either 3-2 or 3-2. How in the blue h377 are you supposed to steal a base when the hitter is going to swing at the ball? Also, if I magically get a good count, why is there ALWAYS a person on the base in front of me?
Or, once in awhile my batter decides to take an extra base or two; thus putting me in ANOTHER non-stealing situation?

Yeah, those were the frustrating parts of steal bases moments. I looked all over on how to turn off quick counts, as I believed I had them turned on while on base for RTTS. I don't think it changed anything. Luckily, there haven't been very many of those moments.

I had more luck stealing third in moments than first.

Yes, stealing first is really tough. I dont think i have done it yet.
