Input from guys that have used both Bichette and Hornsby at 2B

Who you got? I’m playing Bichette there now and although he hasn’t been bad, he hasn’t been particularly lights out either (I think I did better with Biggio). Is Hornsby a good option to try? Stubs not an issue

I have used both and I like Hornsby's swing better than Bichette. Having said that, Hornsby is currently on my bench for reasons discussed here: https://forums.theshownation.com/topic/20396/just-scooped-up-hornsby/21

Hornsby is great. I like both their swings but I’d give the nod to Hornsby but again based on personal preference.

I hit well with Hornsby, I hit a little better with Bo. Hornsby is a great card but he did not the occasional routine grounder
-
Bichette sucks his swing is slow. Hornsby is a beast

Hornsby's bat nets you more runs than what you'd lose w/ his glove in the long run. You decide if you're willing to look at it that way. I know I am.

I've been using Hornsby at 2B since I needed a righty bat....wanted to put HRD Cano back in. Felt like I wasn't doing well with Hornsby and then I checked online stats and I was hitting like .380 with him...so hes in to stay now (he bats like 7th for me).
His reactions aren't great so he'll miss some balls but I'm of the belief that the worse your defense is, the more balls they play because I'm noticing a lot of my gold/diamond guys not reaching stuff they should and my opponents common defenses running down everything.

No brainer, Hornsby

i didnt play him at second. I didnt like him at SS. Agreed his swing is slow

Also I play Hornsby at 3rd. Mother [censored] is a good glover over there

Hornsby and Bichette are essentially the same card defensively considering Bichette takes a secondary position penalty down to silver. Bichette will have a bit more range but Hornsby has yet to misplay a ball and turns double plays just fine.
What separates them to me is not only is Hornsby better across the board offensively, there's no comparison for their swings. Bichette feels like he is swinging a concrete pole underwater.
