My rotation now is Maddux. Seaver, Orel, Wood and Greinke. I think Seaver has to go, haven't done well with him.

My budget is about 120k, I'm leaning towards Ryan but suggestions are very welcome.

He isn’t top of the line but Oswalt is a stud. Very underrated. For stubs wise Hamels is very good also. It’s not about stub price it’s about pitch mix and windups. Etc.

Before you even spend stubs, kluber > seaver

Burnett has been my best pitcher, non Kluber and Orel... I know he’s not for everyone, but if you know how to use him correctly, he’s pretty unhittable.

I don't believe there's such thing as top of the line SP due to how horrible pitch accuracy has been for gameplay this year. Forced pitches over the middle of the plate has been a consistent problem contributing to this.

It doesn't even matter what people suggest which pitcher you should use. For example, just as much as Seaver has not done well for you, there are plenty who have done well with him.

Bottomline, what I mean by all this is that you're going to have to just go through trial and error to figure out what works best for you for that 5th spot.

Certain guys do great with some guys while others struggle, Seaver is by far my best pitcher with a sub 1.50 era in 18 games.. out of your mix maybe try to prestige Orel and Wood, that makes a big difference especially in Orel

Seaver's pitches explode on me. I dislike facing him, but [censored] it do I respect him.

Seaver is my favorite. I know everyone says Nolan Ryan is easy to hit, but I'd like to try him too. I think I would use him similar to how I use Seaver. I don't really use Seaver's slider that much so I think it could work

Seaver is lights out on HOF though. I’d drop greinke before Seaver any day. Ryan is good, but you HAVE to mix his stuff well or else people will be able to sit on his fastball/sinker.

Server is interesting to me. Ive read posts on here saying he's the best pitcher in the game hands down, and then others will tell you he's the worst. Hard to remember a starter with so much disparity in their reviews. I have him but haven't used him yet although I'm tempted. All my starters do pretty well (wood, kluber, maddux, orel, and prestiged felix) but I might throw seaver in there. Working on prestiging maddux, orel, and wood, and I'm almost there so I think I'll swap out prestiged felix for seaver.

I had some success with Ryan on AS, after 3 or 4 innings he get's hittable though. He'd be perfect in a long relief spot imho, especially after a slower pitcher like Maddux.

I'm going to spend more time with Seaver, I can't hit him, but I havn't had much luck starting him. I'm going to give hi som einnings in this event, see if I can figure him out.

Surprisingly Walter Johnson has done ok for me in the limited outings I've used him. His windup isn't that bad and I got a lot of weak contact. You have to mix speeds though and try to stay out of the stretch because he's much more vulnerable there.
