    So I have 300k in stubs. Right now my outfield is RF Larry Walker CF Luis Robert and LF Babe Ruth. I have Musial playing at 1st. Thinking about selling Musial moving Babe to 1st and picking up Ricky Henderson to man LF. His stats look incredible on paper and he will instantly become a upgrade defensively for me, but.... I’m having a hard time trying to convince myself that he could possibly be worth that many stubs. Any feedback with personal experiences with him would be appreciated.

    He's not worth it. No chance. There are too many LF options that are as good or better to justify paying that price for that card.

    It's about fun.

    He's a fun card IMHO.

    I'm not a great player by any means; however, having a team that doesn't run out the Meta or common 99's is more rewarding.

    @J_Gwalla09
    work on prestige Larry Walker and shift him to LF (keeps diamond defense) flip Stan Musial move Babe Ruth to 1B like you said.. then go for combo of Tony Gwynn (diamond in RF only) and Al Kaline (diamond OF/1B) for defense sub at 1B and to protect the 3 lefties. Musial costs about the same as Gwynn & Kaline so you can spend those stubs elsewhere

    Yep. This.

    He is a fun card, and if you like you some Rickey, he's absolutely worth it. For me, growing up idolizing him after getting his autograph at a Bruener's furniture store in the early 80's when I was a kid, he's worth 500K.

    He's also blazing fast, has great defense, and kills lefties.

    That swing for me I just can’t get down. Different strokes for different folks.

    Yeah... it's a little long. He extends his arms on everything, so is prone to getting jammed, particularly against righties. If you pull that trigger early, though, you're going to see some of the coolest no-doubt animation in the game.

    He’s one of the first cards all year to tee off on my Bob Feller. I can’t get him out for some reason.

    I want him too

    [censored] no. Swing sucks too, even if your go with his swing there are lots of great outfielders, but if you want him then he's worth it 🙂
