Hitting vs CPU nerfed?

Anyone else experiencing this? I have not scored more than 3 runs in my last 14 games which is insane for me. Have not hit a no-doubt HR in 7-8 games. Almost a complete lack of gappers to the wall as well. I really feel something has changed in the last day or 2.

Conquest. And I am old and not very good so I usually play on Veteran (I know, I know but I am 54 and reflexes have slowed). This is a slump like no other this year. The lack of gappers reminds me of last year’s game.

I haven't noticed any change. I mostly play conquest on Veteran and Allstar, played a few games last night beat the CPU 4-1 hit 2 monster home runs with Griffin Conine against the Twins (I was doing the daily innings for the Jays).
My guess is it's probably just a slump (happens to everyone). Try not to focus on hitting a homerun and then you will start hitting them again.

Last year was my first year playing DD, I've enjoyed it so far this year. It's been great having so many great players to chose from so far and there's a ton left to go, can't wait for 99 Griffey Jr.

If you are using guess pitch, don’t. If you guess wrong hitting is nerfed bad. I was having the same problem, scoring 3-4 runs a game. Turned off guess pitch, Im scoring double digits every game.

Not using guess pitch but thanks for the suggestion.

Scored 13 runs in a 9 inning legend game against the CPU then when I play on all-star or lower, pci placement feels so much less rewarding

They moved the sliders. No matter how good, or bad, one is right now, yes, yes it has been nerfed by not so good programmers whom tend to lack vision and lose sight as to the point of a game which is to enjoy. They'd much rather see stats come down and AI continually make circus stunt defensive plays no matter of the players rating.

There have been hitting, pitching and fielding “ghosts in the machine” for about 3 weeks now vs CPU and it doesn’t matter the difficulty level played. It’s frustrating for sure.
Hoping it’ll be fixed but I have serious doubts.
