Extra Trout Vouchers
-
Something like this may have been posted before. If so, my apologies.
So, I have MVP Mike Trout. It takes 15 Vouchers to get him. You can choose which collections you want to complete to get said Vouchers. This leaves (I believe) three extra Vouchers that can end up just sitting in your inventory. This just seems odd to me, so I was thinking...
Could they possibly add on to the Trout Program/Collection or whatever you want to call it? MVP Trout is basically the same collection as last year's Honus Wagner. (Last year's grind was a lot tougher, imo.) I'm thinking we might still see another player connected to these Vouchers. By doing this they would force players to not ignore collections like Postseason and reward collectors with another top tier card, possibly SS Honus Wagner... or anyone else, your guess is as good as mine. They could even add more vouchers to the Collection (Fall TA's, Finest, etc.) or just keep the current 18 vouchers.
Does anyone else think this could be a possibility? If SDS released something like this along a Stub Sale they would make serious bank. Just a thought. Thanks for reading and looking forward to everyone's opinions.

I believe there is a very strong possibility. Some folks on here swear that won't happen. I hope there is one more mass collection reward.

it won't happen. They gave out more vouchers than needed to make it easier for people to collect.

I never say never when it comes to this game, so it’s a plausible conclusion
-
I don’t think so, only because the wording they used when they released Trout. “The rarest card in MLB the Show 20”
-
It would still be nice to be able to exchange out the extra vouchers for something

No. Trout only wasn’t hard because we all prepared for it. Honus last year we all basically started from scratch. We didn’t have TAs done, we didn't keep headliner cards or inning bosses. We only had the live collection done and the only other cards we had were free ones+ ones on our teams. Trout isn’t easy for people that didn’t do the prospect, HRD, or don’t care about prestiging cards. Not to mention the TA’s aren’t nearly as completed by the masses as people think. Everytime this is brought up, which is twice a week, you will hear a “but Honus has a nameplate” or something of the sort. All the more reason for him to be an inning Boss. IMO the only 2 players that would top Trout in a collection are Mays and Honus, and they DON’T release cards the same way two years in a row

You can still get tons of XP and Stubs from Completing the remaining collections right? Future Stars, Topps Now and Prestige are the ones I haven't done yet. Gotta Lock those FS for the Collection any ways and the Topps Now to get the August POTM so I'll definitely be completing some Extra Stuff.
