I assume you aren’t interested in placing your CAP at catcher?

Not sure if he's the best....but I sure like switch hitter 96 Matt Wieters...very underrated and best D.

I may be in the minority here but I've been rolling with Torre since I earned him. right now I have Biggio catching for prestige but he's all around very solid. Good power, great contact, decent arm, good D. Also can play other positions including 3rd. I have posey on my bench to come in against lefties and for better D. Once Biggio is prestiged I'll start Torre and keep Posey on the bench and swap him in for lefty starters.

I did well with Posey before switch my CAP to catcher. Adley should be great when released.

Jason Kendall is my most surprising player. Hitting over 300 with him and 130 with Torre.

The CAP still outclasses them overall, has 100s for power and contact except 95 PvL on mine, 90+ fielding and blocking, 98 and 99 for his arm, and 69 SPD.

Posada is a good bat but he's a snail. Wieters is probably 2nd best overall

    There are 2 answers....

CAP is TECHNICALLY best, but your CAP (should you choose to use him) should be at short.

    Posada is the best play.

Wieters. Dude has an absolute cannon for an arm 99 strength, I threw out Ricky henderson on a slider no pitch out

If you don't care about defense, Posada is the answer.

IMO, either Awards Posey or FS Bart are the most well rounded catchers in the game (if you do care about defense)
