I am playing 1B when fielding the batter hits a pop up that the 2B goes out on the grass and the RF is about 10 feet behind him the ball drops about 3 feet to his right and then he just stands there like an idiot. Then again I am in the field with a runner on first less than 2 outs a hard ground ball to me I push the button to throw to 2B and my player without my control goes straight to 1B touches the bag then throws to 2B. Anyone that knows anything at all about baseball knows throw to 2B then go to 1B for the throw back for a double play but with their programming you get the out at first making it a tag play at 2B so he is safe. Who the hell is programming this BS anyway? To program this in you would have to be a total idiot! Either that or you are completely ignorant about baseball.

I like it when you're pitching and there is a high pop to the grass just beyond the infield dirt and your 2B doesn't move a muscle while your RFer is tearing in but has no chance on it.

It wouldn’t have been programmed in; sounds like it just wasn’t programmed out because the described scenario in the code (not referring to the scenario on the field) most likely wasn’t encountered in testing. Log a bug report. Too late and too infrequent for 2020 but maybe it will be investigated for 21.

There's a setting called fielding assist. You have yours on. If you have a non diamond or gold D playing first, the annimation will have them get the sure out at first before anything else.
