Double Plays help

Can someone help me understand what I'm doing wrong that makes my players turn double plays so slowly? 2 diamond fielders, Rollins at SS and Biggio at 2nd can't turn a double play against a 40 speed runner. It's like there is a delay and they can't get the ball out of their glove.

I'm having the same issue. My player will hold his glove up and lazily move out of the runners way at 2B and then make some weird motion and throw to first way too late.

I don't think I've ever ran into that issue. At least that I can remember.

Yeah seems to be alot less urgency turning dp’s this year. I’ve seen it a couple times of moderate contact grounders

Are you pre-loading your initial throws? I pre-load my throws and have turned some beutiful double plays with wicked spinning throws and wicked jump throws.

Are you pre-loading your initial throws? I pre-load my throws and have turned some beutiful double plays with wicked spinning throws and wicked jump throws.
I am. occasionally I'll be successful but its few and far between. I do JUST use the buttons to throw. No slow time aiming or timing. Could that be it?

What are your controls for throwing? Do you have the slowtime aim on as well? I realized that may be my issue, I turned it off as its not very accurate no matter how accurate I am.

I have buttons with throwing meter on. Preload throw b4 it hits glove!

Ya, I have been preloading well before I even catch the ball from the 2B. I'll keep messing with controls and see whats up. Thanks for your help.
