I’m hoping this means that live series cards are actually important this year apart from the first month of the game.

From watching the videos, it just seems like there will be less diamond LS players this year to me.

    Who knows though

Should only be one diamond per position player per league.....5diamond outfielders per league, 3 diamond starters per league, 2 diamond closers per league.....make ls diamonds more important. It's way too easy to get diamonds
..variety is good but a diamond with average power, speed and defense isn't as valuable as a good power, defense diamond. Some of them just slander the name

My theory is this is something that's going to guarantee a few guys per position (LS cards) as diamonds. The theme is probably MORE diamonds so this would be a way of making LS more relevant. Juice them up a little for being the best in the league.

I think if you're a projected 5+ WAR player by ZIPS, then you should be a diamond. That's not very much.

Will this push the value of LS gold / silver cards higher or just the price of the limited Diamonds.... Or both ?

they're absolutely not going to make diamonds rarer. Do you want the Immortals meta again?

They're not dumb enough to do that. Seems like the theme is leaning towards more viable diamonds.
