What happen with Batting?

I am playing CPU and i can’t bat anything. Many Perfect/Perfect flyball at the warning track.

Yeah, i had 2 PPs dor outs, i had better get 8 hits in my next 8 PPs. Lol.

They probably tweaked it like they always do. It’s like the ball dies off the bat. No point to use the zone if a perfect perfect is going nowhere.

I agree, I feel hitting is unforgiving right now. I just played show down, and if my timing wasn’t perfect, I wasn’t getting on base.

Been inconsistent offline the past two weeks, since big content push. At times it's on par with May's game play. For a couple of days, after the server reset and update, it was better, then more content came and it's doing it again.
Kinda losing interest a bit and this is after close to 750/800 games... -
I was wondering the same thing. 3 times on the weekend I had perfect/perfect be foul balls and the pitches were in the zone. Has anyone else ran into this?

P/P's have been dropping at the warning track right and left, even with crazy exit velo's. The amount of DP's over the past two weeks has been maddening, and ridiculous. I've seriously watched batting averages decline during this period and some games are just an overall fight.
Feels like AI pitching has been juiced at times, or isn't as dumb as they once were.
Timing window shenanigans.

Ever since completing the Ruth mission playing all those CPU games.. and I actually batted, not that bunt [censored]. I can’t hit anything to save my life..

lol played a conquest last night on Veteran and it went seven innings. Travis D finally cranked a homer of all ppl.

I don't know if its just me but... all of my just late and just early hits are always foul. Still can get hits on full early or late swings (unfortunately) and good/good and P/P still getting hits every now and again.
Noticed this while playing AS and HOF for the Ruth program.

I actually stopped playing the 6-inning Babe Ruth moments this weekend because so many well struck balls were being caught at the fence. Another thing that I’ve noticed recently is a turn for the worse in infield defense. It’s taking fielders much longer to change directions and get the ball out of the gloves, and I’m talking about diamond and gold fielders. It also goes without saying that baserunning around second base is still terrible. They just refuse to make that better. I played at Polo Grounds for first time in a while against the CPU this weekend. I remember in previous years how if you hit a ball in the gap with a player with more than 60 speed, it was an inside the park homer. I couldn’t even get players with 92 speed beyond third on balls that rolled all the way to the corner. CPU defense in all modes is way too OP. I wish I had completed all the Babe moments when they came out. I had way fewer problems the first week.

Yea, I've noticed a lot of questionable fielding attempts. 2B or SS take slow approach to fielding grounders or just refuse to field with any urgency. I'm starting to see more diamond fielding errors, BUT CPU making highlight reel worthy plays.
CPU is playing more aggressive than before, or usual.
