I faced him week he came out. Honestly he plays like the LS card w his fastballs and if you time him up you can hit him decently. His circle change is dirty to go along w the slider though

I love the card, couldn’t afford it last year so I tested myself. Only pitched one game but he went 6 and only allowed an elite opponent to score one run off 3 hits. You have to mix well as they are only a few pitches. I find the longer you leave him in the more your opponent gets used to the funky delivery which is part of his effectiveness, the deception. Some people can’t touch him others can destroy him, either way it’s a card I want in the arsenal

I don't know, but I am thinking about saving up for him. He has always given me fits, no matter the game or version.

Just pointing out that he is hard to hit usually which means this jacked up version would probably play well. But, I'll make sure to ask your permission before replying to anything.

Ehhhh, I've only had two games with him, but I haven't been very impressed. 96 control doesn't do much.
I really think that in this years game a pitcher could have 99 control on all 5 pitches and still randomly hang good release pitches all the time,

100% part of why I abandoned Maddux, even his 97 control which is his only plus is more like 70. Pitcher confidence plays too important a role imo and totally cancels control. Walk one batter or give up a hit and watch out

Agreed, which is why it's even more frustrating when you've got everything going, confidence is good and that one pitch hangs, the opponent gets one base hit, and suddenly confidence is shot and you are hanging pitches left and right.
