So now that we did the Trout collection, do any of u think its safe to sell off TA stage 3 players? I have all 30 but only use like 5 of them. But i cant shake this odd feeling we might need them all. Maybe im just paranoid but the amount of stubs to be made is too good to pass up. Didnt wanna lock them in cause i dont wanna lock all that profit for packs, makes no sense. Any feed back is appreciated

I've kept and locked in all 60, imagine if 99 griffey (he'd probably be the only card worth it since Mays was a collection last year) was behind 90/90 and you've sold them off. They would skyrocket because theres a finite supply of them.

So true. Ima just hold on to them. Its just gonna suck if they not all needed for a collection. But i think they will be, we still got 30 more coming for fall stage 4. Ill wait til then to see

I sold about half of them, I wouldn't really care if they were needed for anything else unless it's Jimmie Foxx, if it's someone like Griffey or Mays, I don't need them, my outfield is set.

I was going to sell off ten, mostly of the lower end guys thinking they’d be easier to get later. But also because collections for a higher tier card don’t usually require all of the set. However, I ended up locking them all in today. Felt like the right choice.

I think even if there is another collection you wouldn’t need all of them. There just isn’t the supply for that to make sense. Also, if it’s set up like the trout collection, I would guess that you wouldn’t HAVE to have that one. Those stubs you spend would go towards completing one of the other parts.

I think those cards will be collections for TA4 In the same way the ls collection gave you points in TA1. So, locking in hershiser would give you plus 10 in TA4. That would make more sense to me.

I sold any worth over 50k except the ones I’m keeping - killer , mattingly , Orel, leiter , Wood , henke , Palmer and Burnett - the rest are sold. Probably sell the under 30 guys soon too but at this point I’m stub flush. Selling the higher cards allowed me to buy feller and sale so excellent trade off for me

I kept all 30 as I think these cards will be use full in up coming events also I am some what OCD when it comes to collections so seeing prestige collections not completed was bugging me

That seems most reasonable.
Although only ten points would be incredibly disappointing Bc of their worth.

Excuse my ignorance, but I've been grinding TA for the past week for the Trout card (10/15 done) and was wondering if you already purchased a few Stage 3 guys (Schmidt and Brock) in the past - can you skip through the previous stages via an exchange of some sort?

Doesn't seem possible so far to me unless I'm missing something.

Yeah, but you had to lock in similar amounts for the team collection. Like one person said above it would drive me crazy seeing all the open prestige on the collection. I don’t have any yet, but I just got every team out of state 2. So, this is my next project.

Let's say it's more than 10 pts, let's call it 20 pts.
10 or 20 pts of exchanges is still cheaper than any TA3 card.
We are all caught "in between" wanting to sell, but worried given SDS's propensity to drop surprises on us, that these cards will be needed for TA4 or some mega collection.
