Lol I’ve been an avid MyTeam player since 2k11 I believe? Finally took a break in 2k20 to focus on the show and I’ve gotten pretty decent at the game but why is it that every year a new 2k is about to drop, I’m tempted to buy it? Even though I know it’s a BS game haha

It’s a transitional year due to next gen. I’m a fellow 2kgamer btw. It’s going to be copy and paste. I’d wait to see what 2k22 has in store for us. Plus the game has progressively become more fantasy and less basketball every year.

EXACTLY! I took a break from MyTeam last year but from what I saw in videos, They release cheesy cards like Bol Bol at Point guard or Dirk Nowitzki at Shooting guard or LeBron at Center. Like wtf? MyTeam was NEVER like that back in the day and now it’s just utter cheese. It’s not even skill based anymore, more about who can put cheese the op...but yet here I am wanting to buy it because I’m a huge basketball fan

You can just wait a week or 2 after it comes out and see what everyone is saying about it and if there is changes you like get it, if not wait for it to go on sale or just don’t get it

What gets me is if I wait then everyone gets ahead of me in MyTeam haha! It’s painful

Yeah if you like that mode then you are better off getting right away. I still get Madden and NBA every year but I get them much later when cheaper because I dont play their MyTeam modes anymore. So it doesnt make a difference.

Meh, not that I play basketball games too much anyway, but am I wrong that it kinda feels cheap to have the "Mamba forever" edition as the most expensive one? I just feel like it's in poor taste

Im moving to the Nintendo Switch in a few months. PS4 was my last "gamer" console.

I would wait and see what 2K does to PGA. I think they will be up in their own ways.

They are releasing a game that will probably be the most similar game to the previous year they've ever made, not to mention doing something theyve never done where they are releasing a NBA game before the NBA draft.

    1. Since you didn't play 2k20 you could get away with enjoying 2k21 maybe
    2. You could wait until it goes on sale and after the nba draft when they do some big update to add them to their teams
    3. Don't buy it and save up for 2k22/PS5 or Xbox

You got me! I’m not copping this year and if I do, I’m waiting till it’s half off or something haha, the show grind continues!
