You don’t get mad anymore, huh?

Chapman says it all. Always a meatball in this game. And Chuck luck, trust me I know. More like "stuck like Chuck". Watching youtubers they are either crushing Chapman or getting their Chapman crushed. he sucks in this game, always has. Too easy to pick up.

I read that congress recently repealed the law that said the outcome of all games would automatically be dictated by which opponent had the better record. Personally, I find this horrifying because now the teams actually have to play out every game and sometimes a bad team could get hot at the same time when a good time gets cold. Don’t worry though — in the entire history of all professional sports, a weaker team has never once beaten a stronger team, so I’m sure we’ll all be just fine.

This would make sense if it wasn’t one player who is highly skilled vs. another player who is not skilled. An entire baseball team with multiple players all functioning together to win ballgames is entirely different than 1 on 1. Imagine Lebron James playing a game of 1 on 1 with your grandmother.

I really don’t haha. Thankfully.

Just stop, You lost because you had poor pitch placement with Chapman. You ever watch baseball? Anything can happen and all it takes is one miss in location and it’s a different ball game. So if the same scenario happened to you would you be in here talking about how unfair it is?

It sucks you lost, it’s pretty obvious your ego is pretty wrapped up in this game....,after reading all your posts, haven’t seen many people on here more impressed with themselves.....

You always make me laugh.

You lost A game to a lesser opponent... Happens IRL and happens to the best of us in this game. Get over it. Your record says you are a good player. No need to come cry here.
-
I just won an 18 inning game... felt like I had the RNG at the end honestly

You do know perfect/perfects show up in the game logs right? We can fact check your 10+ perfect lineouts.
There were 6 perfects in the game, three of them were outs, and one out was by your opponent with Cody Bellinger, so it was another lie that your opponent never hit a perfect or a good timing.

I’m not impressed with myself. Far from it man. I’m decent at the game. That’s about it. I just observe things and post thoughts I have.

I was obviously using hybperbole. Sorry for not being exactly correct. I hit A LOT of hard hit baseballs But would you say the game played fairly according to the stats you took the time to look up?

I couldn't say, it doesn't show anything but perfects, I don't know how any of your or his swings were besides that.
But, the hyperbole serves no purpose unless you think using the facts wouldn't make it seem like you should have won.
Because that's the only purpose of hyperbole, to make it seem like it's a bigger deal then it actually is.And if you are making up stuff about how many perfects you hit and lying about him not hitting perfects, It doesn't really make me trust anything you put above.

Usually I try to crack a joke when another person says something silly on these forums, but honestly your ego is so disgustingly overblown that I legitimately encourage you to take a step back and reevaluate your opinion of yourself not only as a gamer but as a human being. And I’m being 100% serious. The LeBron vs Grandma analogy is dripping not just with unparalleled narcissism but also with a sense of misanthropy that is genuinely disturbing.

Because that's the only purpose of hyperbole, to make it seem like it's a bigger deal then it actually is.The purpose for hyperbole is to exaggerate to make a point. I would have looked up the exact perfect perfects and lineouts, etc. had I been more prepared. But the point I made still stands. If you disagree, that’s fine. I just find it odd that people who read forums of anyone who is even remotely disappointed with any aspect of the game immediately delegitimization their claim and tells them to stop playing or leave haha. Like some things are a major issue for some and for others they’re not.

Yeah, because if you didn't exaggerate it, the point isn't good enough alone, that's the purpose of hyperbole.
You don't have to look up the exact number to know you didn't hit 10+ for outs since ONLY 3 were hit for outs and one was your opponent, so that excuse doesn't fly sorry.
Let me ask you this, do you think if you used the facts to describe the game, that the point would still stand?
If yes, then hyperbole wasn't needed, but you obviously don't feel that the facts are good enough

I wasn’t comparing Lebron vs. your grandma to myself hahaha. I’m above average at best at this game. I just meant that as a scenario between someone who is highly skilled at the game vs. someone who is not to compare to the idea that “any team can beat any team” argument.

So which is it: are you “above average at best,” or are you “highly skilled,” King James?

I wasn’t referring to me in the scenario at all. I was saying that 1 on 1 is entirely different than an entire professional baseball team playing against another professional baseball team with multiple players all performing differently. I used the Lebron vs. Grandma analogy simply to point out that vast skill difference between 2 players in 1 v. 1 means Lebron would beat Grandma every time because no other variables other than Lebron skill vs. grandma skill would factor in to determining the outcome.
