I’m pretty sure if you don’t bunt, and even sometimes if you do, you will have a 100% likelihood of grounding into a double play if you have a runner on first. It’s literally every single time. No matter what you do. That’s just awesome.

I was in a stage 2 SD with Jose Urquidy as the final boss. I hit into 5 Double plays. I went in 12-15. I had like 10 outs left when i just keyed in on low change ups, i smacked him around and won. But 5 DPs was enough to send me into a fit of rage. The CPU immediately looks DP when you get a runner to first, you have to be conscious of it

Best part is it also happens on like high fastballs too that would require you to tomahawk swing to even get it remotely close to being on the ground. I think that is the part that annoys me the most....the amount of grounders I hit on pitches up/centered PCI.

Thanks guys. I ultimately just resorted to automatic bunting with a runner on first no matter the hitter. It was the only way.

If the dude on base is even remotely fast I try to cheat my way to a steal.
