Uploading created player to franchise

I’m sure this has been answered a million times. But, is there a way to upload a created player to a franchise that has already begun play?

Add them to roster save the roster when you start franchise use saved roster with CP on it

Since you already started the franchise you’ll probably have to just edit an existing player not on your 40 man roster.
