MTO and Team Affinity Question

If I do a march to October run with a team and if I’m about to turn from Team affinity 1 to 2, will the additional MTO points carry over once I get to stage 2, or do I lose them?

They carry over, from stage1-2,stage 2-3, but you'll hit the max at end of stage 3 and lose the rest.

Reds were fun, great offensive lineup and a couple real good pitchers ,makes the challenges a little easier.
