Question about Ranked gameplay

So I just played a game of ranked and this guy had 95 Griffey JR. This guy hit 3 homeruns with him. One swing was late another was perfect and the other one was early. How is this possible to do? Is it just bad RNG luck? Or is it something else?

pitch locations, pitcher confidence, pitcher attributes, stadium, all factor into things, not just rng

Why wouldn't that be possible? Early and late home runs do happen.

He is squaring up your pitches with his pci, one he was a little early, one a little late, the other he was dead on. Swing timing decides what direction the ball will go in. In fact if a ball is outside, it may be better to be a little late. It's also better to be early on inside pitches. This is true irl and in this game
