Team advice/stub management

I just blew all my stubs and I'm down to 10k. I don't have as much time to grind as some people, so I see I'm behind a lot of players here. Still, I've blown stubs in the past DDs so I'm wondering what the market experts think about the value I'm holding. People here have talked me out of buying cards like the Griffey, Kemp, and Dustin May when their prices were much higher. I also need another SP as I only have 3 good (great) ones.
- 98 Eric Davis - LF
- 99 Larry Walker - RF
- 99 Mike Schmidt - 3B
- 97 Robinson Cano - 2B
- 99 Buster Posey - C
- 97 Cody Bellinger - 1B
- 95 Carlos Corea - SS
- 94 Shane Victorino - CF
- 99 Kulber, 98 Hershiser, 96 Hamels - SP
Bench. 92 Giambi, 91 Cobb, 90 Cargo, 90 Reynolds, 92 LeMahieu
Pen - 99 Mo, 92 Rodney, 93 Gagne, 93 Eck, 87 Neris, 87 Morton, 85 Aroldis

Yeah it's good, I'm just wondering if their stock is going to tank and I'll basically be locked in to them, with no way of getting better cards later.

Did you do TA to get Davis or did you buy him on the market? Lodolo is a good starter thats the FS for the Reds. Also grind for Smoltz and you'll get Wright too who is a decent starter as well.

No, I paid for all my TAs. I'm waaay behind on most of them. I only have 4 stage 1s. What's the fastest way to get through them besides exchanges?
Heard bad things about Smoltz, I've been looking at Wood.

You could use more lefties in your pen

Yeah definitely. Any recommendations?

Smoltz and wood both are solid for me. I've heard when you get above 500 smoltz gets a little shaky (not there yet) exchanges are the quickest way and can be done at a small price. When you consider you'll make about a little back its not too bad. The market has picked back up though and higher silvers are a little higher than they were a week ago.
Hader has been great for me out of the pen. Doolittle is pretty good too (A's collection)

Player’s tourney Garrett, A’s collection Doolittle and SS John Franco are some cheap and effective options. If you have the stubs, AL West Wagner, Prime Jake McGee and Prime Zack Britton are all very good. Obviously the 97 Chapman too.

Thanks. Im too broke for Chapman. I blew my stubs on Schmidt/Davis/Walker/Orel/Cano.

I'm 9-2 and like 447 or something around there, so I'll be above 500 soon. Is that when the difficulty increases?
Thanks for the advice. Just trying to be prepared for when I start facing good players with stacked teams.

You'll play on Allstar until you and your opponent are above 700. For the rating you're in, your team is pretty stacked.
I agree with the above comment on lefties, and I would also put Belli in the outfield to utilize his defense and arm, and move Victorino to the bench. Get Silver Slugger Daniel Murphy in at 1st (secondary). He hits tanks, his defense isn't going to hurt you at first, and he's under 10k.

What's his speed? (I'm at work). Only reason I've opted to keep Victorino in center in Belli at 1st is that I dont want to be lugging a slow first baseman around when I already have Posey and Cano. Victorino is probably a better fielder too and gets a lot of cheap hits. I feel like I like him more than most of the 1Bs I've seen, though some extra power would be nice.

Murphy's speed is a 42. The only time you'll notice it in the field is those weak out of bounds popflys behind first. Other than that, the speed doesn't kill you. Belli still has gold (diamond when you prestige) fielding in the outfield, and if you put FOTF Davis in center, he'll make most of the plays in the outfield Victorino would have.
