Great defense. I'm not really seeing the huge power yet. He may not be a good match for me stylistically but he was my fave player as a young kid so I'm going to give him some more time. I was running Correa at 3rd and Didi at short for awhile and Schmidt is a big improvement defensively, he's a vacuum cleaner with a cannon on the corner.

Out of curiosity, why the concern over Vision?

I just put Killebrew back in there. Schmidt had the advantage defensively, but I feel his bat wasnt near the level of the big Killer.

Just wish he could knock it out at Forbes in that moment...perfect/perfect power swing hit the wall.

I will add, since playing a few more games with him I have noticed my opponents are much more careful pitching to him, so this cold be part of it. Him and killebrew are getting tip toed around. Guy did hang a CB in the last game and Schmidt hit a ball that still hasn't landed yet.

He gets a lot of hard hits for me but not getting HRs. Maybe they will come eventually, but I was hoping for a game changing bat.

    Obviously plays elite D.

    9/10. Thinking about trying Killebrew

If you like his swing, he'll be a great card. I've never been a fan of his swing though, so I'm always horrible with him.

Luckily I use Strike Zone 2 camera so swings/stances don’t really deter me one way or the other.

Swing has more to do with speed than stance. Different guys have slower/faster swings and that has a direct impact on your timing.

Well, as I said I had great success with him in his Philly moment. I’ll try it again before I buy though just to make sure. 👍

1 moment isn’t enough to tell if a card has a good swing

True, so I went back and did the moment a few more times. His swing is absolutely no problem for me thank goodness. Just picked him up for my team.
