Lefty grove = No Thx

I mean the card looks solid for what it is but OMG the moments look horrible to do not to mention old time pitchers and there pitching animations make things go slower. SDS this is a HUGE L but they cannot all be good and to who made these moments -- u suck - LOL

These player program cards have just been intended to provide an added award on top of the program stars they give you for completing. Never intended to be inserted into somebody's main lineup. Last year they just gave us program moments with no rewards besides the program stars, stop complaining. I like these program players!

Pitching 9 innings twice isn’t worth it for only 20 stars in my opinion + all the other moments. But for those who want stars it is a good option

Do the online components give you enough to get him?
I remember skipping the Corbin moments by doing online stuff.

Personally, I like pitching moments and find them easy. I'm also interested in Grove, so this is naturally right up my alley.

I know I'm in the minority on both points.

I don't mind pitching moments if they're 5 innings or under. Whenever they put out these 9 inning pitching moments it winds up being a colossal waste of my time because I'll always get deep into the 8th or 9th inning and then there goes a bloop and a blast. Try again. Gotta pitch another 9 all over again. It literally happens every time. There. Are. No. Exceptions.

Yeah, i will do online stats to keep moments down to a minimum

Look at it as another veteran card to add to the collection when a Honus type collection comes out.

The moments are MIND NUMBINGLY obnoxious

Why is the first moment at Metrodome? I know the Senators became the Twins, but the Senators played in Griffith Stadium which is also in the game.
SMH at this one.

Luckily got'em all first try even threw a perfect game against Tigers. Put on Dababy and jammed out was enjoyable thinking of how sick the Lefty SS card will be at some point.

This right here, the AI no matter what always works their way back. To need a shut out is ridiculous. I wont need anything after 300 stars on this inning so I may pass

I skipped those moments, did the shorter moments, 2 online missions and exchange (could do game versus Athletics instead got lazy).

Yikes. I'm not home yet to check anything out, but that sounds really dumb.

Walk the first batter if the moment allows it and pitch from the stretch

I'm not to that moment yet but I'm guessing the home game is gonna be at Oakland coliseum.

I don't mind the historic moments in different stadiums when those stadiums aren't in the game,but it's not good when the actual place is in the game but the moment isn't at it.

I finished all the moments in just over a hour. They are not bad at all

what was your go to pitch sequence for strikeouts? like pitch placement, pitch for R and L batters. Everybody was making contact on my pitches today it was so frustrating.

The first Moment took me three times to finish and against the Tigers you would think they were the 27 Yankees the way they hit. Once I got by those two the rest was very easy. Mix up your pitches....a lot because if you don’t the hitters hit 98-100 mph fastballs like it is batting practice

Pitching moments are no problem. Finished them up in 45 minutes. For whatever reason I cant hit worth [censored] so I hate those moments.

Can SDS do ANYTHING without some chucklehead declaring it a “HUGE L?” Good god.

These forums are so obnoxiously dramatic and entitled sometimes. Mods — please just ban me so I don’t feel tempted to come back. This world sucks enough as it is and I’m tired of wankoffs acting as if it’s their honor-bound duty to [censored] all over the few rare pleasures that are meant to be nothing more than brief flashes of happiness.

This was really easy actualy (at least for me) you don't even have to pitch the 9 inning games. I'm at 40 points. Took me less than a hour.

Now for the part i've not been looking forward too. Time to get beat baddly and pitch 9 innings with the A's during this event.

I don't play online much at all, but 9 innings with A's SP and 10 K's gets you 20 points. Super Easy. 1 game. Actually, it led me to play a few more game online, which I actually enjoyed very much, even won one of them in RS! Then you do the exchanges to get to 25, and now you don't have to do ANY of the 9 innings complete game moments. Honestly, it was the easiest program all year. I can't stand Lefty like most of us, but free stubs and a 92 Diamond....easy,

Finished it tonight...wasn’t terrible difficult. Used A’s pitchers in 3 event games...played half a ranked season game because someone quit to get my starter the rest of the SP K’s I needed. Did the exchange, beat 3 moments the quicker ones, and beat the A’s on AllStar.

I like him. I find myself IBB the first batter of an inning and then he has a quicker easier windup. In moments at least, not in a game.
