No Prime/Signature Shortstops for next Event

The 35 (or whatever it may be) win reward will probably be a prime shortstop

Just a guess the player program on Tuesday is for a prime ss. My guess is 92 prime alan trammel. Another light hitting ss with terrible xbh moments to finish to get him lol
That was my guess too. We would have both been wrong.
Say hello to Lefty!

Ya i saw it was supposed to be a veteran but it went over my head.
Im happy its a pitcher, should be easy to finish -
These events are all about hitting mostly anyways so you can probably stick an out-of-position player at shortstop and not get hurt all that much.

What an odd choice for his Veteran Card. In 1931 he was at his prime (31-4 2.06 ERA and MVP).
I feel like his veteran card should've been with the Red Sox.Oh well. Pitching missions means easy stubs, XP and points towards 5th inning.

They want to save a signature/MVP card for another reward somewhere down the line, although it’s pretty baffling how this would only be a 92. He was pitching in one of the most run friendly environments in MLB history, only comparable to the steroid era, and still put up those ludicrous stats.

I hate most of the events cause it requires you to have collected so many tips of one series to field a competitive team. I liked the moonshot event cause it wasn't a specific series of players. There is not that many sig cards. There are some prime cards but alot several of them are high stubs cards.
That new prime cueto card does look nice and I like his delivery

This did the same with Chipper a Veterns card for 1999 it should have been a prime card the guy played for another 13 seasons.
For Lefty Grove he had only been in the league for 6 seasons. He would play another 10 seasons. It should actually be a prime or an mvp card cause he won the MVP that year.
Vet cards are supposed to be for the guys that are aging and they are not at the top of their game any more like the babe card 1935 is his vet card his last season.

Catcher is a tough one as well, only Torre really.
Edit: I forgot about the prime panda with secondary.

Double edit: Biggio can play C
-
What is the requirements for the new event?
-
Sandberg OoP still has better than 70 fielding. So Ryno it is.
-
How many new player awards usually come out for each event?
-
Sandberg is definitely the answer here
-
So since Sandberg actually has 73 fielding at SS, when Dozier is acquired, Sandberg goes to SS, Dozier to 2B, Jackie to 3B and Reynolds to 1B (Biggio at C). Second best move next to having Zobrist at this point. But for now, Kingery at SS.
-
Just play a good fielding bronze and bat him 8th... PH for him, then have another bronze for defensive sub.
