How bout we stop defending online only prestige or just deal with whatcha get! This is what happens when people are forced into playing modes that they don’t want to play.

It happened to me at least 5 times in a row this morning and I only needed 1 hit and 4 runs.

You aren’t forced to do anything. The only reason offline players should want to prestige cards is if they try to collect every card in the game. Thats it. The plus 3 attribute literally doesn’t matter for any category except for fielding. Offline players don’t have any purpose to prestige cards other than personal satisfaction. You aren’t going to see much of a difference between diamond Larry Walker and prestige larry walker other than the diamond being red, which is completely visual and can easily be ignored

I do the opposite. There has been many times where I just walk away from the game and just let him throw fastballs down the middle and let him get his prestige stats. I don’t see the reason not to help others get their stats when the majority of the people will rage quit making it more difficult. I’ve lost by over 50 in a moon shot game by letting him get his stats. Some people just suck.

Pretty sure the point is to [censored] you off. Seems like it worked at least a little, since you are here complaining about being dashboarded and denied stats for Prestige.
So it seems like you are one of the people that do that...
No I don't but I also don't go on a message board and complain about it happening to me.

It happened to me last night too. I had to laugh and smh.
I think it’s a combination of several of the replies (rage, poor sports, selfishness, etc). In my case the player hung a pitch in the bottom of the 3rd.
My opinion is it’s the players who haven’t quite accepted the fact that they don’t control the game. The game does.

Well isn’t that one of the main reasons people play this game? To collect different cards. It doesn’t matter if you’re an online or offline player. Overall, it’s just trying to have fun collecting.

Right and thats where I think they went wrong with prestige cards-making it a separate card that adds a +1 to the collection. If they made it work like an inside edge boost instead of having it be an entirely different card I don’t think anyone would care about prestiging cards whatsoever. Like I said the plus 3 attribute bump makes minimal difference. If it was just +3 boost without it being a different card I don’t think we would have as much boosting in events
