Idea for a BR\Event hybrid

I've played friendly games in the past with an open lineup composed of BR style restrictions (only 2 diamonds, 3 golds, # silvers, etc) and thought it would be cool to have that implemented in DD. So essentially BR with your choice of cards instead of a draft

They would definitely need to keep that you can’t rid of collected cards then because theoretically if we went back to where you can quick sell locked cards then it would get abused to have soler, sano, etc. as your silvers every time you draft

Edit: Nevermind. You said without the draft. I thought you meant draft from your collection

Events and BR have always had a power meta either way, my hybrid idea simply emphasizes choice in a tier restricted team
