Warren Spahn?

We haven’t seen a high overall, usable Warren Spahn in the game since 2017 under the old rating system. I find this pretty odd since he is generally considered one of the best LHP of all time. He didn’t get an immortal in 18, and was completely skipped for a signature in 19. I figured team affinity was the perfect place to put a 99 version of him, but instead we got our 3rd version of John Smoltz, while there still isn’t a single Spahn card in the game.
I know the vast majority of people don’t really care for Spahn since 1 he’s an older legend, 2 his windup is extremely long, and 3 he would be another braves legend. But did we really need a 3rd version of Smoltz? I know they still have his rights since he’s on the historic rosters, so that isn’t the issue. I’m not even a Braves fan, just a fan of old timers in general, but this kind of baffles me.

I don’t see what the big deal is about smoltz having 3 cards. Everyone saw it coming. The 88 card isn’t good an the other one is a closer and a Br reward

It’s more the fact that he’s already gotten 3 cards. Like I said, Spahn has 0.

Spahn is one of the all time greats, but lots of players hate his windup. I had him on 18 and loved using his card.

I would assume he gets one, but maybe SDS checks the data on how many times he was used last year. I hardly ever seen it used, and only used it a few times as I struggled with it. So by the data maybe they think Spahn isn't a priority.
This is all just a guess, would love to see a useable version of him this year though.

Other than POTM cards; everything else is planned out before the game comes out. They have a plan for Spahn(if they even have his rights still I’m not sure). I’m thinking a late year event reward or late 150 star inning pack for him personally

Is there a Spahn card in the game cause they may have lost his rights

I think if that were true then Palmer wouldn’t haven’t gotten a card, or Catfish Hunter for that matter.

Fair point, forgot about those two. I wonder what the holdup with Spahn is? I can't see him being an Innings Boss, maybe he comes in a HL pack.
