Conquest

I'm about 30 stars away from Walker. I could probably get him by completing the 5th inning conquest, but I just don't understand it. Just play a bunch of 3 inning games around a map? I don't understand the strategy. Is there a way to do it more quickly? I've never completed a conquest.

Let me start off by saying it is the best mode. Conquest is basically like the board game risk if you know that game. You can attack other territories with your “fans”. Go look at YouTube, I can’t explain now, sorry!

Only play the strongholds, and the 1 steal turn. So you only need to play around 7 3 inning games to beat the map, like Olive Garden said, look up hints on youtube

- Play just enough Steal games to finish the mission.
- Sim EVERY OTHER tile outside of the strongholds.
- Take over all the non-stronghold areas.
- Take down the strongholds in decreasing strength order. (Take out all the areas with 12, then all the areas with 11, etc.)
AT MOST, it'll take half an afternoon. If that.

You’re wasting a bunch of decent rewards by not completing the conquest maps.

I know. I need to figure them out. I've started a couple, but get bored with it not knowing if I'm even on the right track for completing them. Thanks for the tips

I’ve come to love conquest. Honestly once you take the first one or two strongholds after stealing a lot of fans, you can skip a bunch of turns to the reinforce phase and then sim most of the map.

It's my favorite mode and such a great way to knock out TA innings as well. Once you get the hang of it might become your favorite mode.
Think of it this way you get free packs (somtimes for as much as 5k) for beating the cpu in a 3 inning game.

Conquest is the best. Check out YouTube for a quick and explainable "how to" It goes towards a good amount of stars. There are a lot of hidden packs, stubs, and XP throughout the map that make it worth it too. Im assuming you haven't done any of the conquest maps either. Go back and do them all even if you don't need the program stars. They're worth it for the free stuff, us you can grind out missions and innings during it. Ive done the US map twice and just started a 3rd run to knock out some inning missions.

Listen to Farris and Bumgarner. Steal Fan games and win (of course) and sim your way around the map. Build up your fan base, beat all the strongholds and then sim your way to victory and get all the goodies.

I hated conquest at first, because I didn't really understand what to do, I played way more games than necessary and reinforced random areas, once I figured out how to rip through them quickly, playing strongholds and simming basically everything else, they are my favorite, tons of free goodies and I can be done with them in usually 2-3 hrs.

step 1, stack up your 'territories' by claiming as many blank spaces during attack mode.
step 2, unless the missions/goals for the conquest mandate that you Steal fans, start button and skip to the next phase, which is reinforce your fans. The more territories you have claimed, the more reinforcements you have.
Step 3, simulate every game for every territory during the attack phase. Only play the games against the Stronghold. Futhermore, you can select the difficulty level you play the stronghold based on how many territories you have in relation to the stronghold you are playing. If they have 7 and you have 99, you can play them on Rookie, for example.
Have a great time, I love conquest because of how casual it can be.

Great breakdown! Yes, a lot of people likely don't grasp that key info in step two.
