since the nl will have a DH for the 20 short season and NL teams don't set there rosters for it, who do you think will fill that spot this year? for the phils I'm thinking Bruce for rightys and possibly Bohm could get some DH time.
Dodgers could use Turner with age and nagging knee issues, Could use Beaty as well or Smith and let Barnes catch. Dodgers have lots of options. Lux, Hernandez, Taylor.
Scwarbbarrrrrrr
Not a fan of any NL teams but I would imagine it looks something like this: Mets-Cespedes Marlins- Aguilar Braves- Nationals-Thames/Zimmerman/Kendrick Phillies- Bruce like you said Cubs-Schwarber Cardinals- Carpenter Pirates- No idea Brewers-Braun Reds- literally anyone, likely Castellanos though. Reds lineup is loaded tbh Rockies- Blackmon Dodgers- Same problem as the Reds imagine it changes everyday Giants- Pence Diamondbacks-Jake Lamb comeback season baby Padres- Cordero/Myers
Most teams don't have dedicated designated hitters anymore. Its mostly used as a way to give guys a day off.
I think the Brewers balance it out to not just Braun. Smoak, Morrison, Hiura, Gyorko, and even Yelich will get games at DH. That's not including the taxi players.

Frazier was a gold glove finalist so I doubt he will be the DH. It will probably be Josh Bell. Colin Moran will get some AB's at DH. If Polanco's shoulder acts up, he could be slotted in there as well.
I'd bet many teams will rotate the DH slot to give guys a partial day off. Doubt there will be many off days during this shortened season and won't want to take big bats out of the lineup too often

Good point, Bell seems like the most likely. But yes it will probably be a rotation of guys getting DH spots.
