This looks amazing... many of us wanted to know WHY certain outcomes would occur with “good” pci placement. Hopefully this system will help to explain the good okays/good popped etc.... not going to get too excited but wow it looks like you heard many of our gripes! Can’t wait to test her out. Really hope ballpark and wind doesn’t cause too much variance but other than that really liking everything

I’ve played the game without knowing the update was already installed and it felt like the pci-outcome was fairer. And then i checked the notifications window and woah! I think this update does modify hitting sooo, its a whole different game and more fun 4sho. Let’s go!

The stat dump is literally dopamine. I can't get enough!
If I may, suggestions for the next stat dump:
-- Average Team Affinity Progress
-- Inning Stats (Avg Stars, Most popular Bosses)
-- Percentage of Users that have acquired Mantle, Biggio, Sheffield
-- Percentage of Users that have entered XP Prestige Path
-- Most Prestiged CardsI wondered why I had so many diamond Yankees cards, Reggie Jax, DJ, Didi, Sanchez, Grandy, Posada, Gleyber

This new feedback is amazing!!! Honestly the timing graph instead of the swing animation is so much better and so much more useful!!
This is outstanding!!! Great job.
Also for people complaining about hitting results a screen gran of this feedback will surely show why they got that outcome.
Keep this feedback for future games, although wut the new timing graph time can probably do away with the swing animation illustration.

Had a guy pitch four starting pitchers during one game yesterday. I am assuming he uses every starting pitcher, every game, and pitches them 2-3 innings per game. There has to be a way to stop this. I like the idea of being able to pick my starter, but it's just too exploitable.
With the new patch they should all go down to zero energy eventually because they would never gain any back. Hopefully he gets burned by it.
-
Is just me or for everyone else in RS after patch lefty relievers loose stamina way too fast? I tried Wagner and other lefties, and after 6-7 pitches they were already in the yellow.
Meanwhile i see Fingers and Rodney throwing over 16-17 pitches in the green!
Anyone else? -
@Victor_SDS
I've posted this to a few The Show groups I'm a member of, and gotten some pretty overwhelmingly good feeback on it.
"This would be a much better layout for the new results interface. Much easier to read and get the information you want. Plus having the distance if you hit a homer instead of having to replay or going into the game log to find out would be nice. Also, I think it should stay on screen for about a half a second longer so you can actually read the results and apply them. I love the new feedback system, it just needs to be a bit more streamlined. If you guys agree, does anyone know how to give feedback/suggestions to SDS?"

Another thing i noticed after the patch...both for me and my opponents, when stealing the catcher meter throw is delayed for some reasons!
-
what a bad game , if i want to play a random game i will tell you....
-
Since I updated my catchers meter isn’t popping up on stealing runners. Usually I’d hold triangle when the pitch was on the way to the plate then release it when it got to the green. That doesn’t seem to work anymore.

I had this happen last night too. The throwing window didn't pop up and just showed the field. Gave me a flashback to last year....and I just stood there and watched him steal second haha

Yeah same to me...hitting and pitching is the same random circus and now the last thing we needed was this smh

I like the feedback tool a lot. I'm still having trouble with really erratic analog pitching and the occasional fielder runs right by a grounder, not triggering fielding animation. Also, had a bloop pop up bounce over my head last game and proceed to roll almost to the warning track. That was crazy. All in all, games super fun, glad they're addressing issues. Contents amazing!

I don't see the swing feedback for every swing like I used to in the past two games. What gives?

Up top in the navigation menu there is a report bug link, open that and you can change report bug to feedback or suggestion or something like that.

Good stuff.
I can say that you're definitely not alone about wanting it to stay on screen longer, and we're looking into that.

https://imgur.com/gallery/kYPM3LnNegative exit velo is a confusing conept - pitch velo is a minor input in resulting exit velo both in real baseball and in-game based on science. We've seen questionable exit velo examples but pitch speed just isn't important enough to be referenced.
In this example, the user input was a bit off, especially PCI, and the batter wasn't all that powerful to begin. All in all, slightly above average input resulted in slightly above average exit velocity at a higher than average launch angle so not at all alarmed that it resulted in a flyout to a deeper part of the field. If the PCI input was better, the exit velo would've been better, but it still may have been a fly out with that launch angle and batter swinging the bat.

I don’t have anything solid to offer in terms of feedback regarding the patch yet, it’s still too early for me to form an opinion. I did want to say that this is the first time I’ve seen anyone from SDS offer up a direct response to a post of this nature, much less a detailed explanation to go along with it and I’m delighted.
I don’t expect you and other staff members to mop up the forum by responding to every single complaint from serial whiners with nothing better to do than complain incessantly, but this is definitely nice to see. Thanks for the reply.
