Why is it a step off instead of a instant throw over to first is what I'm tryna figure out

Online people usually don't know the basics so we have to teach them.....they usually install the game and go right into opening packs and cards.

Thank god!!! This forum you never know my man. I thought about this plenty. You'll be surprised at how many I get by stepping off and throwing to 1st immediately as opposed to regular pick off. In my head its just like you described minus stepping off. Guarantees no balk though Precious half a second though.
