So I am down to just Bellinger and Trout left. Honestly don’t know how it’s possible to get them without spending money on the game (My guess would be buying stubs at the next stub sale). BR is brutal, my best finish was 10-2. I believe I’m in Division Series (700, correct?), so World Series is pretty far, and I’ve also tried flipping cards and it’s worked decently well, but in all honesty I am just way too impatient to sit through and flip to get enough stubs to purchase the two cards. Those are the only methods that I am aware of to get any kind of major “stubage” in the game. Does anyone know of anyone other way?

Earn some stubs through showdown and could get lucky with the affinity packs! Other then that I know nothing as well. As someone who is also chasing the live series collections (5 teams left) I learned just gotta keep saving and grinding!

I’ve never bought either guy and for 3 yrs straight I’ve pulled both. It could happen. But it’s a couple of way to make tons of stubs keep grinding

    There's only 3 choices:

    • Time (put in the work via playing, flipping, etc.)
    • Talent (BR, WS)
    • Treasure (stub purchase)

Load up on silvers for TA stage 3, everyone will want to use exchanges to get to those cards quickly when those cards drop and prices will increase for silvers and gold cards.

As someone who just completed the live series collection yesterday with no money spent aside from the initial $99 purchase you just need to grind, especially Showdown, get lucky on some packs, sell everything you don't need and don't waste stubs on packs. I am no where near WS and do not play BR so it can be done it just takes time.

Do not buy stubs. 10-2 BR run is very good, 12-0 is possible in all honesty. If you're already in 700s RS rating, make the WS push.. Blake Snell player program has 50K+ stubs if you sell all cards you earn. 100 wins in this new Event could get you major stubs, although it's kind of boring. Sell duplicates & prospect packs

If you have already collected all the other cards for free, you have proven that you can acquire the stubs needed for the last 2. You just have to be patient now. Grind cpu modes and sell everything.

Ok so I have spent money on the game, I realized my post came off misleading; what I meant was more money. I have also done showdowns 20+ times, 5-7 full March to October’s, 29 out of 30 teams to stage 2 TA, and every player program except Blake Snell. Also at approximately 430 P-Stars if that matters.

You would need to have done way more then 20 showdowns to max out all affinities, unless u just crush conquest for affinity innings. I’ve lost track of how many showdowns I’ve done, but average is 3-4 per team x 30 is 90-120. I only paid for packs once during stub sale. The affinity packs seem to always hit for me. I always wait until I have 20 or so packs affinity packs lined up. Then rip them. This event is dumb fun and easy wins. I usually can get 5-10 a day while only playing a few hours. Flipping cards is not fun for me. Only time I did was on exchanges when I would spend 20k for 2-3 sets and sell back the extras.

No no no lol, I’m only at stage 2 for 29 out of 30 teams, not almost to stage 3 with these teams.

Oh, gotcha. Misread that. Yea just do more showdowns. You net like 5K or more per run and u might get lucky on a pack. Also u get a biah pack and TA packs and stubs moving up in TA. I’m estimating here but if u run showdown twice to max out a team u are looking at close to 20k thru showdowns, stub awards and packs on average. Commit to maxing 1 team a day and u should get Mickey by July. Oh and he is amazing and worth it. Also, footnote but POTM belli put trout on my bench.

i like the events.. grinded all the cards in the live series and switch it up event and sold them a week after the event ended.. now i grind the moonshot event.. surprisingly i do really well and win approx. 8-9 games per entry.. i just hope i get the rare round from the DOP pack.. if i get the rare round i don't know if i just take greinke and keep him or take the most expensive and sell.. i only need cole for biggio and haven't completed the most teams for sheffield
